Pack it in...

Well, it's official. We are moving-Kyle accepted the job at University of Rochester as Area Coordinator for Family and Graduate Housing. We will be moving to our new townhouse in the graduate student housing complex on June 24th. We were going to move next week, the 19th, but they are installing new carpeting so we have to wait a few more days. I will be taking some time off from working. I am not sure how this will work out--but we want to give it a try. I love being home with Grayson and I dont want to miss anything.

Our new place is two floors, two bedrooms, with a basement. We will be purchasing our own washer and dryer--which is great-considering the option of having to scratch up quarters every time we need to do laundry. We will have a little bit more room than we do now which will be great in the future when Grayson becomes mobile and has more toys.

The housing complex seems to be full of families and kids--which will be great because I will be leaving a great group of mommy friends here in the Binghamton area. I am also lucky because my friends Becky, Jen, and Kim all live nearby--and they all have new babies as well! I am very excited to live closer to them! We also have a lot of family in the area as well and look forward to seeing them more often. We will miss being so close to our immediate family though. We will set up a guest room as soon as possible!

I will post more news about the move soon...

We spent last weekend traveling to Pittsburgh, PA for Smitty's wedding. It was great to see everyone and catch
up--we definitely don't get to see our college friends often enough. Grayson stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Struble--he had a splendid time, Grandma needed a nap after we left! We were very grateful for a night away! Thanks Mom and Dad! The wedding was at the National Aviary-it was a beautiful setting for a beautiful wedding. We are glad to see Smitty so happy!

That's all for now. It's late--we went to Franklin to have dinner with Sara, Griffin, Jane, Ryan, Gary and Joan. We had a great time!
